MRSAFPI’s Remarkable Achievement: 21 Cadets Join NDA and Other Elite Defence Academies

The Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI) in SAS Nagar (Mohali) has achieved a stellar milestone, with 21 cadets securing admission to the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other prestigious defence training academies within just three weeks. This accomplishment brings the institute’s total to 276 cadets inducted into various defence academies since its establishment, reinforcing its legacy as a premier institution for military training preparation.

Cadet Placements
Director MRSAFPI, Major General Ajay H. Chauhan, VSM (Retd), announced that 18 cadets have joined the NDA’s 154th Course, including:
- Patiala: Aryan Sofeth, Ojas Gaint
- Mohali: Anhad Singh Khatumria, Armaanvir Singh Adhi, Harkanwal Singh, Prjveer Singh, Aditya Mishra
- Sangrur: Bhavik Kansal
- Ropar: Mohanpreet Singh, Balraj Singh Heera, Ishaan Sharma
- Bathinda: Ranbir Singh, Ishmeet Singh
- Jalandhar: Samarvir Singh Heer, Nimit Soni
- Gurdaspur: Manjot Singh
- Tarn Taran: Udhaybir Singh Nanda, Gurvanshbir Singh
Additionally:
- Cadet Gagandeep Singh (Kapurthala) joined the Cadet Training Wing of the College of Military Engineering (CME), Pune, for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES)-53 Course.
- Cadets Arshdeep Singh (Gurdaspur) and Karan Kaushish (Mohali) were selected for the Air Force Academy’s 218th Course.
Director’s Message
Congratulating the cadets, Major General Chauhan expressed pride in their achievements and noted that several other cadets are still awaiting their joining letters. He reaffirmed MRSAFPI’s commitment to becoming a primary feeder institution for the Armed Forces. “We urge our cadets to train diligently and strive to become exemplary officers who bring honor to Punjab and the nation,” he said, wishing them success in their upcoming training.
