NDA Graduation: Six MRSAFPI Cadets Make Punjab Proud

-Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi reviews historic parade

In another glorious chapter for Punjab, six cadets from Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI), Mohali, successfully graduated from the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, Pune today.

The prestigious Passing Out Parade of the 149th NDA Course was reviewed by Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, PVSM, AVSM, NM.

The proud graduates are:

  • Gurkaran Singh (Mohali)
  • Harmanveer Singh (Sri Muktsar Sahib)
  • Arjun Singh Toor (Ludhiana)
  • Rhythm Mahajan (Pathankot)
  • Akshansh Aggarwal (Sri Fatehgarh Sahib)
  • Gurjyot Singh (Sangrur)

Despite training at MRSAFPI during the tough COVID-19 period, these cadets excelled through three years of intense NDA training and will now move to their respective service academies (IMA, INA, AFA) to become commissioned officers in 2026.

Minister Aman Arora congratulated the cadets and the institute, saying: “Every MRSAFPI graduate is a pride of Punjab. These young men have proved that with determination and world-class training, no challenge is too big. I wish them a glorious career in uniform.”

Director MRSAFPI, Major General Ajay H. Chauhan, VSM (Retd), added: “With today’s success, the institute continues its outstanding track record. Currently, 15 cadets are awaiting NDA call-up letters for the December 2025 course, and 47 cadets are preparing for upcoming SSB interviews.”
