Multiple Senior Faculty Members Assigned New Responsibilities
Several senior officials, appointed by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jagdeep Singh, have officially assumed key administrative roles at Punjabi University. Prof. Jaswinder Singh Brar has taken charge as Dean Academic Affairs, while Prof. Davinderpal Singh Sidhu has been appointed as Registrar. The appointment ceremony was attended by Dr. Jagdeep Singh and other dignitaries.

Prof. Davinderpal Singh Sidhu, from the Department of Applied Management, brings prior experience as Registrar to his new role.

Dr. Sukhjeet Kaur, a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science, has been appointed Director of Planning and Monitoring.

Prof. Amarinder Singh, from the Department of Management and Director of the Indian Administrative Services Training Centre, has taken up the role of Director of Constituent Colleges.

Dr. Pramod Aggarwal’s tenure as Finance Officer has been extended for an additional year.

Prof. H.P.S. Kalra has been appointed In-Charge of the Publication Bureau.

Dr. Rajinder Gill is the new Director of the Diaspora Studies Centre.

Prof. Manish Kapoor has been named Controller of Examinations.
Leadership Transition
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jagdeep Singh congratulated the newly appointed officials, expressing confidence in their ability to contribute to the university’s progress. Notably, Prof. Jaswinder Singh Brar, previously the Director of Planning and Monitoring, Director of Constituent Colleges, and Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, has handed over those responsibilities to Dr. Sukhjeet Kaur and Prof. Amarinder Singh.
