Runner-Up Glory: Punjabi University at State Youth Festival
Wins 1st place in 8 events, 2nd in 15 events and 3rd in 13 events

Punjabi University, Patiala has clinched the overall second position (runner-up trophy) in the Punjab State Inter-University Youth Festival organised by the Department of Youth Services, Government of Punjab.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jagdeep Singh specially congratulated the University’s Department of Youth Welfare on this outstanding achievement. While welcoming the trophy on the campus, he said that Punjabi University is known not only for its academic excellence but also for its remarkable performance in co-curricular and cultural activities. Such accomplishments showcase the talent of our students, boost their morale and inspire them to achieve even greater success in the future.
Director, Youth Welfare Department, Prof. Bhiminder Singh informed that the Youth Festival was held from November 30 to December 3, 2025 at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Punjabi University delivered an impressive all-round performance by securing:

- Second position in 15 events
- Third position in 13 events
